I have come to trust implicitly that if we can open to what life brings, if we can open even to that which seems unbearable, then we open ourselves to the seeds of transformation, healing and growth inherent in all life.
It is in this act of opening, regardless of the devastation or wounding or indeed the joy that is the catalyst, that we meet the mystery, that we are touched by that which is larger than ourselves. Our soul-life can deepen and nourish our being, and Spirit can grace our lives and expand our sense of self.
My commitment is to provide a space where this full opening to life is possible, and where there is wounding, to help reconnect to the flow of love and life."
Kairava is a director of I.C.S.M , and founder and teacher of the Ecstatic Dance programmes. She has run a practise since 1990 specializing in deep-tissue bodywork, breathwork, counselling and sacred psychology. She is currently collecting stories and information for a book on the sacred feminine.
