"Through my own experience I have come to deeply understand the human capacity and impetus toward healing. Having been the recipient of and participator in much healing work over the last 16 years I am always honoured and humbled to be present to another's healing, and to provide a space in which another person can come and be vulnerable and open to their own healing.
Human relationships are wonderful yet often painful experiences, and always rich sources of knowledge about ourselves. It is this dance toward healing through relationship with others, and ultimately with oneself, that brings me joy. I am constantly in awe of the capacities, courage and strength that people bring to this work.
If you are needing a gentle space, or practical support, come and sit awhile. Sometimes all we need is someone with an understanding heart, an open mind and a willingness to hear. Sometimes, all we need is someone to guide us to our own
knowing..."
Dassana has studied extensively with Daricha and Rachana at the Centre for Human Transformation for the past 16 years, as well as with Lifeline and the Cairnmillar Institute. Her experiences of being a daughter, sister, mother, lover and grandmother have informed and shaped her learning and practice. She continues to study the human experience, and ways in which we can navigate our own experiences towards greater joy and happiness.
